Iris is the messenger to the gods and she lives in the full spectrum of Rainbow Road which is an interminable roundabout since rainbows are, in fact, full circles. From the ground only the light reflected by the raindrops in the arc above the horizon can be seen. She spends her days pacing around and around as she delivers her messages, keeping a sharp eye out for the gilded realisation of her hopes and dreams, but, as she never reaches the end of the rainbow, only the emptiness of fool's gold slips through her fingers.
