One of the smallest Kingfishers in Australia, the Azure Kingfishers population is concentrated on the North and East coasts with their natural habitat usually on or nearby to a creek or waterway . They are unusually fast in movement and I purposely put water drops on their feathers to indicate that they had missed their prey and had to try again.
