Description

Arriving at a free open air music concert in Denmark, Western Australia I spotted this dog sitting in the back of a station wagon in the carpark. The door was open, he had his own duvet, water bowl and ball. Of course I just had to get a closer look! As I edged closer he had his head turned away from me as if he was ignoring me but every now and then he turned his eyes with raised eyebrows to look at me as if to say, “That's enough, don't you get any closer. Ever faithful and always on guard the devotion and loyalty of mans best friend is without a doubt unconditional. It is this love that inspired 'On guard'. So if you are in need of a faithful friend he is waiting for a home to call his own.......
Painted in acrylic using a multi layering technique to build up the texture of the fir. A certificate of authenticity is issued on all sales and personally signed.
