In this artwork I wanted to lighten my palette and introduce joyful and uplifting colours. The forms of flowers and a face are united by gooey, viscous and seemingly melting paint. Melt is inspired by contemporary Japanese portrait photography, abstract expressionism and the colours of autumn.
