MATERIALS USED

Giclee print on archival paper, numbered and signed.

DESCRIPTION

I wanted to make a series of subtle, sensual nudes that made you feel, even if you weren't sure quite why. And I wanted something that was about mood and form. And it needed water for the model to rise out of.

So, we stuck a table in a pool (which harder than you might think). Then added smoke, light and the right model.

The images are quite alien - it's unclear what's happening. Personally, I find there's a strange counterpoint - beauty and something just a bit sinister.
