About Gary Sauer-Thompson

Gary is a photographer and blogger based in Victor Harbor, South Australia.He has an M.Com in economics (Canterbury University, New Zealand) and a PhD in Philosophy (Flinders University of South Australia). Gary’s  photographic training was at the Photography Images College in South  Melbourne under John Cato whilst Gary was working on the Melbourne trams in the mid 1970s.   Gary has worked as an economist, a tramways conductor, an academic, and a political and policy advisor. He retired from full-time paid work to become an art photographer in 2011.
