About Judi Parkinson

Judi is inspired by nature and personal experiences. Her art practice includes an eclectic collection of paintings, mixed media, movies, photography, cyanotypes, books and Artist’s books. Regardless of the medium however, her works record a personal visual diary of her past experiences, her gardens and home in Maleny and the surrounding hinterland, and also her travels. As a multimedia artist she chooses the medium, ground and artistic expression that will best portray the subject that has inspired her. Judi often works en plein air and completes landscape artworks in her studio using her resources (photographs, watercolour paintings and sketches) created at the scene.
