Constructional No.1, V1 in 3D was created using my own technique and theory in practice developed over several years. DeConstructed Photography begins with a single photo which is deconstructed into patterns, the patterns are reconstructed to create a new undetermined image. I have continued the process with the physical print deconstructing eight layers using individual templates. They are then mounted on top of each creating a unique 3D version of a 2D image. The process was timed to be approximately 265 hours to complete, from the creation of the original image, making templates, hand-cutting each layer and finally mounting it before custom framing it myself.
It was a true labor of Love!
