As the evening turns to dusk, a gorge in the flanks of Uluru take on an almost fabric-like flowing quality as they are illuminated by the soft skylight only. The slow speed of the film and long exposure add to the softness of the scene as well.

The image has been professionally scanned from the original 35mm negative, and printed using archival pigment ink on resin-coated Kodak lustre photographic paper. The black border indicates a full-frame uncropped image. This image is also available as a handmade darkroom print using traditional photochemical techniques and archival toner.
The default print size is on 12βx16β paper, which equates to an actual image size of 25.5cm x 37.5cm.

The photographic paper size is not indicative of the actual image size on the print as there needs to be white space to allow for framing as well as the edition number & signature.
