A3 Inkjet Print on Canson Platine Fibre Rag Photographic Paper

DESCRIPTION

My series in South East Asia was focused around the experience provided to and enjoyed by tourists - the downfalls and the realities behind the picture perfect travel photos. I focused on how crowds of tourists gathered at major attractions, and how the locals experienced interactions with travellers.

This image was taken during a hot air balloon ride over Vang Vieng in Laos. This was my favourite country from my time in South East Asia, and this was my favourite town. Surrounded by lush valleys, it was just spectacular. I was fascinated by how different everything seemed from above, such as this fence with the rows of flags coming off it. They seemed to be at odds with the large field that the fence surrounded, with a lot of empty space in the middle.

Limited edition of 25.
Comes framed and ready to hang. Print size is A3, frame size is 30x40.
