This modest boat house sits on Perth's Swan River. normally, it is a plain building with a nondescript backdrop, but light is the great transformer. This was taken very early one summer morning when the sun was just painting the sky. The clouds are remarkably delicate and the colours transformative and velvety, but the real magic is the 'wink'--a little glimpse of cheek in an otherwise serene setting. It was like the house and I shared a secret.
