A lone figure wading through the green swells, a ghost, a creature, an insomniac? No one is sure, but she is there every night cutting through the timeless ocean. Melbourne singer songwriter, Charles Jenkins wrote a song based on this image, have a listen!

Walk This Ocean by Charles Jenkins

Using a low resolution camera, I'm interested in finding the moments that happen just before or just after a photograph is taken. It's like walking into a movie after it's started and wondering how we, as the viewer arrived here. Often we need to invent our own back story. My work is often described as impressionistic, dreamy and painterly, I see it as storytelling, but without giving the plot away.
