DESCRIPTION

A zebra crossing is a black and white pedestrian crossing, which typically gives priority to the rights of way of pedestrians. Theorist Ghassan Hage discusses this act of two parties mutually contributing and investing in an engagement. They enter into a mutual obligation. This photographic series explores that theory within a contemporary Australian context.
