The water was like green mason jar glass and the sound of squealing and happy guffaws left my ears as I glided from the wall below the cool surface. What relief, what joy. Feeling muscles come to life and memories of competition surface I raced to the end of the pool and then basked in the heat of the day, feeling fulfilled with a singing heart.
