Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

'Fallen Country' is a journey of natural order. A representation of a landscape which is anchored by the fate of the smallest leaf, animal and insect. All things however great and mighty will circum through energies of chaos to attain a state of natural order.
I look for textures and forms to convey the gentle and harsh emotions we feel, and live in. The softness of a feather, and the harshness of a banksia leaf.
The white birdlike structures emanate a purity and lightness the human conditioning searches for. An aspiration to the higher self. A sense of freedom, protection, hope and faith. Which can easily be fallen.
My work finds meaning through the animals and landscape around me. I see combinations of imagery that work together as a whole, then expressed through the canvas.
The professional quality stretched canvas comes varnished and ready to hang as is or you can request the framing options available through Bluethumb.
I hope this work of art can be as impactful for someone's space as it has in my studio!
