Artist Statement-
Early morning the old man watches the ocean, above the entrance to the harbour. Container ships pass him slowly, connecting his world to another. Each panel is a different view, to see as he sees, pressed against the window, willing safe passage.
Wall Label - Oil and wax on marine ply, each panel depicts the entrance to the harbour, a different viewpoint, a different day; what the old man sees, the one who watches over the ocean.
