Artwork Description

Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

"Gulbalanha" is a Wiradjuri word meaning to be at peace. I find after everything I've been through in my life time, I am now a content and happy person. My life revolves around the family I've made with my partner and continuously growing our lives in a safe, happy and fun filled manner. My children will never know what it is like to be abused or made to feel less than they are because the world we have created for them has no room for that and I won't allow it!
Let your past self be someone your future self can be proud of, scars and all.

The earthy red tones represents the colours of Outback Australia. This piece shows a large Wedge-tailed Eagle searching for prey. The earthy red tones represents the colours of Outback Australia. This piece show a beautiful woman holding a Blue Wren in the palms of her hands. A Monarch butterfly rests upon her shoulder as if to look out as an old friend who has seen her go through so much trauma but is now at peace.
