Returning to my original style of painting, this artwork combines the vibrancy and dreamy qualities of watercolours with semi realism graphite drawing. Cosmic Turtles is a playful take on traditional painting and drawing styles to create an almost fantasy scape.

Turtles are symbolic if perserverance and protection always carrying their home with them no matter where they go. These turtles symbolise a continual sense of belonging whether you are travelling the depths of the ocean or the far reaches of the cosmos as you are your own home and therefore safety, protection and belonging is always within, as well as your own strength to continue on your journey.

This is a large mixed media artwork. The paper is 300gsm mould made watercolour card measuring 71cm x 50cm the painting is centred with a minimum 5cm border for matting and framing. You are buying an unframed artwork, however it is shown here framed for visual reference.

*There is a small tear in the edge of this paper due to the softness of it, however it sits within the boarder and therefore not visible once framed.
