Think of all that junk left behind in space all coming together as one organised piece of chaos and presenting itself as a beautiful portrait of matter floating in the endless sea of the Universe. The opposite is probably much more accurate but one can dream.

This painting is highly textured and was worked on over a period of weeks. I kept coming back to it and thinking "Its not quite right yet". But now I am happy.

Two significant things have happened to my art in the past few weeks: I have moved into my new studio , and, I had cataract surgery. The first occurrence has given me a new sense of my natural surroundings with the forest and bird life, and, the second has literally opened my eyes. Colours are brighter, images are clearer. I love my life.
