This painting was created for an exhibition called Women’s Work in Brisbane. The colourful whimsical patchwork style composition contains references to women’s home life - children, cleaning, cooking, household pets, procreation and a wider reference to other female animal species and their young: all contained in the ‘Garden of Eden’. Just like the topsy turvy working life of a woman, the painting can be rotated around and viewed from each edge.
