This piece continues the foray into patterned fabric underlays in my work. A larger scale work at 100cms square the gentle rhino softly nudges his way into frame, purely by chance several of the birds feathered in the fabric underlay came to rest on his horns and head. painted using my signature gestural acrylic movements and graphite pencil, he is an emotive piece to head off my latest venture into a collection of endangered species.
