Painted Plein Air as part of a 30 day Plein Air Painting Challenge in May. The location was Mooloolaba Beach looking back towards Alex. The painting was 90% completed on location and then a few finishing touches in the studio.

This painting was featured on ABC Radio and live streamed on their Facebook page when they asked me in to do a live interview. They had been following the 30 day challenge and were keen to see this painting as it was the final one of the challenge.

Plein Air painting is a traditional approach to painting used by the esteemed Heidelberg School of Artists who defined Australian Landscape painting.
