"Late Afternoon at Staithes"
16" x 20" original oil painting landscape impressionist painting by Noosa artist Rod Moore.
One of my favourite places in the world is a little fishing village on the North Yorkshire coast in UK called Staithes. It is the home of Captain Cook and a magic spot with painting scenes everywhere.
This painting captures the sun setting over the top of the cliffs setting a nice glowing effect into the approaching dusk.
Note - This painting is on stretched canvas and is UNFRAMED.
Note - This painting is unframed but ready to hang with a hanging wire on the back. Please be aware that my painting style is loose and impressionistic ... as such the edges are not neatly finished as that would detract from the style and spontaneity of the painting approach.
