This piece was inspired while sitting on my favorite beach and watching a storm approach. I love painting dramatic skies and this painting would evoke wonderful memories of swimming at the front beach of Rye, Victoria.
The art work is deliberately not varnished as I believe it can dull and yellow the appearance. The colours are fresh and vibrant.
