Nature is my main inspiration. Quite often it comes when I am driving. This painting is inspired by the the shadowy ultramarine blue and violet hues of tree trunks that came to view when I was driving one early summer evening . The sun was setting and the air was still. To me, it is nature at its best.
This work was painted with limited palette because that was how the whole scape appeared to me.
This artwork has a black timber frame fixed by a professional framer.
