About the Artwork:
This delightful scene features a collection of tropical plants including Frangipani, Palms, Ferns and my favourites Cymbidium Orchids, plus a pair of Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos. I love working in varying hues of the same colour, which in this case is blue, black and yellow. I mix the colours and paint consistency directly onto the paper to give the piece it's random depth and watery blends of colour.
