This painting is in honour of the Currawong who visits the trees outside my house each day as the sun is setting and signals the end of the day with his wonderful song. My work is heavily inspired by the everyday nature and backyard birds that co-exist within my urban neighbourhood of Newtown in Sydney's Inner West.
