Monsterflora is a new series of semi abstract botanical works I am currently exploring. These expressive drawings feature gestural mark making and line using paint, charcoal and pencil, and are intended to capture the chaos of the wild sub tropical native and introduced flora growing in the unkempt gardens belonging to my neighbours.
