This contemporary still life painting features a tribal vase containing native plants in rich earth colours.
These works are loose interpretations of the eclectic plant varieties I find growing wild in my neighbour's gardens with a focus on line and pattern which is a characteristic that runs through all my work regardless of subject or medium.
I painted two very similar as a matching pair that are the same size and similar colours that would look great hung as a pair
