Artwork Description

Jean-Michel Basquiat is an artist I have always been fascinated by, his rise to fame and love from Andy Warhol, his style, everything about him has is just intriguing. This painting is somewhat of a tribute to him, the background and text are references to a number of his works, especially the way he would draw attention to words by crossing them out. I felt i had to draw him the way i do to try and reveal a little more about him, behind the eyes of the painter.
Thank you Mr. Basquiat
