Mixed Media on wood, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This artwork emerged spontaneously one evening when i realised i was fresh out of blank canvases and growing tired of a commission i was working on. I made it out of an old thrift store bought reframed canvas board that had a really boring artwork on it, and all those cool textured little left over bits you get when you leave paint on a pallet for too long and it dries. Ive always had this weird idea of diving into an endless pool of colours like those painty leftover bits, hence why i put them in two specific sections, the sky and water of the original artwork. i find the paint blobs to be immersive a kind of hypnotic in their randomness and unique shape. Its beautiful in its own weird way.
