Artwork Description

over the last year i have consistently been listening to music as i paint, lately its been a great deal of Australian Hip hop filling my head as i paint. this portrait is based on a sketch made late last year of Tuka from Thundamentals. Earlier last year he did me a solid by posting a picture of my art on his social media, a small act but one that is hugely significant, its through people like this that i am only now taking myself seriously as an artist. This portrait for me is a kind of shoutout to them, as a thank you for filling my head with music and the confidence to create more art. Thank you.
