Ive always found myself torn between my two styles of art. i love realism and abstraction equally, but sometimes i wonder how to answer that annoying question "so what type of artist are you?" whenever anyone asks me that i say a confused one with a brush and pen. each style of art making brings me equal amounts of satisfaction but each has its own challenges and unique ways of doing. they've always seemed seperate to me in that i go through phases of desiring realism then craving abstraction. but never both at once, until now. the two minds title is a reference to each style feeling completely seperate to me, the combination of both coming together in this painting.
