This is a depiction of a crowded city...the busy railway station stairs...a packed street in Sydney. I miss the hustle and bustle of the world, seeing people going about their day and moving between each other on the road to wherever they're going. This artwork is an interpretation of the masses of people we encounter (or we used to encounter) in the cities we live in, sometimes its a bit chaotic but it is a beautiful sea of people, culture and experience, each with their own voice. Hence the title, the whispering sea.
