This is the first in a small series of experimental artworks I have created using old works that I wasn't happy with. I wanted to explore the mundane, I saw an opportunity looking at people on public transport. This portrait is of a person coming up the stairs from the bottom section of a carriage, I find the concept of trains interesting. A metal vessel to transport thousands through places and times in their life. I wonder where this person was going?
