A quiet afternoon stroll along the banks of the Seine, overlooked by the elegant gothic spires & gargoyles of la Nôtre Dame de Paris, inspired me to paint this little picture. Who knows what literary treasures can be found here, amongst the books, magasines, prints & posters stacked in the green book stalls shaded by an avenue of plane trees.
Maybe a reading nook would be the place to hang this painting.
