I have exhibited and practiced art for over 25 years now, having many solo shows in Regional and Private Galleries and teaching art through N.S.W TAFE, Bellingen Camp Creative, Adult Community Education and Disability Arts Programs.
My work has been commissioned for public places including Coffs Harbour Marine Biology Centre, Coffs Harbour Health Campus and corporate buildings.
I have also had my work selected for major regional art prizes including the JADA and EMSLA, winning a regional award in 2007.
My art practice has developed alongside a life time of interesting jobs, varied lifestyles, further study, travel and art teaching and
I continue to expand my experiences and my artistic horizons.
I like to investigate the abstract portrayal of physical and social landscapes and narrative interpretations. My art making process has developed and I become more interested in working with layering, mark making, removing and reworking.

Through Sydney College of Arts I achieved a BA Visual Arts and gained a comprehensive background in art history, contemporary art movements and work by various artists all of which has influenced my artistic thinking. With a Graduate Diploma in Training and development I have been able to apply my teaching skills to teaching art in a range of formal and informal arenas. Apart from formal training I continue to learn through drawing and making art.

Australian landscape painters Fred Williams and Ian Fairweather are two artists I greatly admire and I am drawn to sculpture and drawings by Giacometti.
I am also inspired by the natural landscape around me as well as architectural landscapes.
