An Original Sarah Jane Painting of a modern nature that illustrates the importance of our Australian Wildlife and the devastating affect the bushfires have had on the numbers and habitat inparticular this painting highlights Koalas.
The South Australian fires on Kangaroo Island which today 23rd January have been contained has destroyed over half the island and with it 30,000 plus Koalas.
We have kept this painting very simple with a charcoal outline of a Koala so it could suit a kids bedroom or a study. The highlight of this painting though is the ash. We have used this as the medium for the body work of these beautiful creatures with the statement and message being that
through the ashes we will rebuild but we will never forget the tragic bushfires on our country of late 2019 and early 2020. We need to take care of our wildlife more than ever now so I will be donating 20% of profits to Adelaide Koala Rescue
The painting is housed in a black frame that is 52cm x 52cm with perspex.
