This is an enigmatic, intuitive abstract work made using a palette knife - oranges and yellows laid over a dark ground and glazed with Rose Madder (transparent pink) which will glow when placed under a spotlight. My intention is for the viewer to weave their own narrative around this work, however my inspiration is from late night walks around Montmartre (pre-Covid!) This work has a lovely black box frame - I will arrange a photo of that. Thanks for your interest.
