Sarajai Luana is an artist based in Noosa Heads, Queensland.
Her works feature Acrylic on stretched canvas or paper, and a unique element of distressed foil for embellishment.
Sarajai has worked in a variety of creative industries, over the last 25 years, including a career in World Music & Jazz performance, a Multicultural arts project developer, freelancing as a Graphic designer, and as a Visual artist.
She has travelled extensively, to the UK, Europe, South America, Caribbean, India & Indonesia. This has given ample exposure, and opportunity, to explore the myriad of cultures that are reflected in her work.
Over many years of study, Sarajai's visual expression has always promoted a sincere love of the diversity & essences of traditional cultures, and destinations, from around the world. Her passion is to capture the totemic and "wild elegant" nature of indigenous cultures from around the globe, and perhaps traces of her own Islander heritage.
