Artwork Description

Giclée on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed and numbered on the back.

Australia has so many species of Banksia. This one is commonly called Firewood Banksia from the tradition of carrying the burning seed cones from place to place to help start the Indigenous' fires. It is Banksia menziesii. I've put in a little ant as this flower is often covered with them.

This is a giclee print on canvas and then stretched onto a wooden frame. The image is mirrored on the sides, so there is no need to add decorative framing. You can hang it directly on your wall.

It measures 40cm by 50cm.
