Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Little Native Irises or Patersonias grow in every state of Australia. They are distinguished by having just three petals. Also called Purple flags, they are visited by lots of little bugs, so I had to include one. You'll find these cute little bloomers in the forests of Western Australia.
"Purple Iris" is for anyone who loves Australian wildflowers. Or maybe you have someone special you’d like to gift it to.
It is difficult to capture the true colours of this flower to show the brilliance of the purple with touches of purple.
This is an oil on canvas and has been finished with a protective varnish. The painting continues around the sides of the internal frame, therefore making decorative framing unnecessary and it is ready to hang in your home.
