I occasionally make abstract paintings to take a break from the intensity of figurative work. Every now and again I have the urge to work with big splashed of colour and put some movement into my work. I'm lucky enough to walk along Bondi Beach every morning and this piece is inspired by the colour and curves of the Pacific Ocean.
