Years ago I went to WA and fell in love with the landscape, which seemed so foreign coming from the east coast of Australia. The sun set on the beaches instead of rising. This is the second painting inspired by an area around 750km north of Perth, where brilliant rusty red cliffs surround white sandy beaches providing a vivid contrast to the sea and sky.
