Playing with Puddles gained Special Special Recognition in January 2020 “All Women” online Exhibition”
I started painting Playing with Puddles September 2019 and spent more hours on it then any other painting. Although I sourced the image, I had wanted to paint it since my mum passed away early June this year after a long battle with cancer.
I kept thinking about a day when I was about five and we were running home in the rain, and I was being a bit naughty and wanted to play in the puddles, until I needed to go to the toilet really badly.I then became distressed that I wasn’t going to make it home in time, and my mum kept say, “Don’t worry, Luvy l, I’ll fix it when we get home.”
She never got cranky. Just laughed and told me to run.
Until you find the perfect frame, this painting comes ready to hang with d-hooks.
The painting is initialed SR on the front bottom right hand side, and the back contains at least the title, month and year, medium, and canvas size.
Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
