A small abstract botanical inspired by the first blooms of Spring that have had to contend with snow-like conditions here where I live. The soft pastel coloured petals were just starting to emerge when faced with icy cold blasts of wind and snow, but despite their seemingly fragile foliage they’ve still emerged strong and beautiful.

This mini is created with a palette knife and oil pastels, and has metallic gold accents that contrast the harmony of colours. It is framed in natural oak timber and is satin varnished, and comes with a COA.
