The eclectic mix of architecture found in Far North Queensland has been used to create these new surreal buildings which are placed in an environment of less urban clutter, so one sees the architecture in a new light.
These are conversation starters, so great to have in your living room or hang as a set of 3 together. They have been named to reflect what their previous usage was or what they are now, combined with their environment.
Innisfail, the Australian capital of Art deco has plenty of these style buildings due to the town rebuild after the 1920's cyclones. It's also a town of sugar cane farms. Cane burns are rare these days but majestic when they happen, they attract hundreds of local onlookers. These buildings were originally a chemist, bank and doctors.
