This is a reimagined work based on a small 1940s black and white photo that appealed to me, partly because of the strength in her face but partly because she looked so graceful. The blues of the water are obviously brighter than reality but I wanted to lift the whole palette. Edges painted white. Ready to hang. Please note this is not my usual heavy weight canvas and stretcher frames, it's student weight. Due to Covid supply issues, this is what was available to me, so it's priced accordingly.
