I've been painting on vintage maps for years but every time I came across the UK and Ireland I just couldn't see what to do. Today the penny dropped. How obvious it seems to me now. These 2 pages from a 1970s atlas have been glued together and measure approximately 34 cm x 53 cm in total but you could also crop it (see image suggestion). Comes rolled in a tube and ready to be sent to the framers where the glass will flatten out the paper as well.
