Can you believe Madonna turns 60 this year? I decided to honor her status as a fashion icon and do a mashup of Vogue design and a 12" vinyl version of her song Vogue. The dress is built from an original 1960s Vogue pattern. The background is a 1980s sewing book where I explicitly kept the bodice sheets to support her. Painted edges. Ready to hang or be sent to the framers if you so choose to be put under glass.
